There is much excitement afoot, as this multi-award-winning destination opens this month in an all-new avatar, after a year of extensive renovations. Alexander Renoue has been appointed as beverage manager with a mandate to lead its distinguished beverage programme across the hotel’s bars as well as at its new, exclusive club Modernist and dining outlets like San:Qi and Prato.
Sunil Narang, general manager, said, “Everyone who visits us asks about AER. It is probably the most eagerly anticipated opening for guests of the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai. The hotel’s commitment to providing guests with innovative and personalised experiences sets it apart. Our beverage program is no exception; especially now with Alex working closely with guests to create bespoke cocktails tailored to their individual tastes and preferences.”
Renoue’s style of mixology is a blend of classic techniques and modern twists while he takes the time to get to know his guests, asking questions about their favourite flavours, spirits, and ingredients, in order to create an inspired and personalised cocktail experience that they are sure to remember. With Renoue as the beverage manager at this sophisticated culinary abode, the hotel’s cocktail menu has options ranging from the refreshing and fruity to the bold and complex, and is sure to impress even the most discerning of drinkers.
Born and raised on the beautiful island of Corsica Renoue brings his extensive experience from living and working across the world to his new position. From Zuma Dubai to Shangri-La in Colombo and Manila and the Back Room Renoue has enjoyed discovering libations that delight discerning drinkers, and he arrives ready to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of cocktails at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai.
Renoue said, “It is an honour to be here in Mumbai at Four Seasons at this time and in this position. I’ve always believed that with passion and dedication a person can reach for the sky, and this is what I’m hoping to do at the hotel and at AER.”
